We've tested his Canon EOS40D and Mitutoyo M Plan APO 10 microscope objective. 117 exposures taken with 0,01mm steps. Illumination with two flash diffused with a regular paper cylinder. Stacked and retouched in Zerene Stacker (PMax), only 3% cropped removing the stacking bands on the edges. "

adesso non avete più scuse .... ecco quanto dice Nikola: " It was cought in Southern Slovakia 22.10.2011. (last weekend). We were beating fruit trees and found this wasp. I think it was in a pupal chamber in a dry branch which broke while beating the tree."

San Biagio, 31 ottobre
Excus me, i have wrong language! This photos are the wonderful that have see about chalcidoidea!! Compliments!! Determine Torymidae to photos is almost impossible, but this photos are too detailed that i can i think at 90% are Torymus bedeguaris, ectoparasite to Cynipidae on Rosa sp. I don't can see if parapsidal groove under posrerior wing are straight or sinuous; if margin of posterior coxa are pubescent or bare; if spurs of hind tibia are egual in lenght or short are half of long; if mandibles have two or three teeth. The genus Torymus, 150 european species, are one of more difficult of all insects!!! If one dont are Torymidae specialist, dont can understand that specimen examine, so, dont feign others entomologists that with some biological or environmental notice are easy!!! Best regards to adriano cazzuoli, Italy.

Best regards to adriano cazzuoli, Italy. Grazie Adriano, I understand all you wrote here. Thank you for the positive words on my photos, and especially for the ID. Torymus sp. is far enough for me. conan ha scritto: questa tecnica e risultato ha dell'incredibile.
