# 5073 The insect foraged the white Umbelliferae of the garden of our house in Donzy (Dépt. Nièvre - France) - 04 08 2011
# 3197 Captured in Forest of Andelys (Dépt. Eure - France) - 15 08 1997

Because of the habitus, these captures are Stratiomys.
- ♂ & ♀ : Sternites mainly yellow.
- ♂ : Abdominal side-markings on tergite 4 narrow and fused medially.
    (when the sternites have the yellow bands hardly thicker than the black bands, one can make errors of determination)
- ♀ : Abdominal side-markings on tergites 3 & 4 narrow and fused medially.
and
- 5073 is ♂, because the eyes are contiguous.
- 3197 is ♀, because the eyes are widely separed.

Then Stratiomys potamida ♂ & ♀ (Also known for Italy)
