Hi.
I met a lot of small flies. I am wonder what species is it? :)

I suppose the leaf belongs to genus Carduus or similar.
The family, in my opinion, should be Therevidae.

Hmmm. I suspectes Tephritidae family, because of big similarity to fly from this thread: http://www.entomologiitaliani.net/public/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=402&t=54691

I always thought that Therevidae are predators and have got abdomen longer then their wings.

But I am not a specialist in this part of insects, so, I can thing wrong :)

Tephritidae is correct. Probably Xyphosia miliaria (Schrank 1781)
