Dear all, I found these caterpillars on the bark of an Acacia tree in Evrona Nature Reserve (hyper-arid desert), in Israel. Do you have any idea about the species? I have also another question, not related to this ID request: There is any morphological character to determine if a small caterpillars is indeed a small caterpillars of a large species, or if it is the adult of a microlepidoptera?
