UV-Light traps-Bulgaria

Hi to all,
I would like to share my first experience with uv-light traps inspired by Ilja Troyan's site

The trap was made by 1 lamp,uv bulb 8w,hung over a bucket filled with water.I made it as simple as possible,because it was just a test.So there was no glass as shown on the pictures.Everything cost about 12-13 Eu.I placed the trap on the window on the second floor of the country house and left it switched on for 3 days and nights.
The result was a surprise for me.The specimens on the pictures were about 1-2% of all the insects in the trap and I had only 1 hour to sort the material.Next time I'll take all the material and sort at home.I was most happy about the 7 Athous penevi, Platia(Elateridae)which is more than the known specimens uptill now.
I guess many of the beetles attracted at the light didnt go into the trap,because found many Carabidae specimens hidden around the place.
Next check will be tomorrow and I'll take pictures of the actual trap and the site.

Yes,it is Histeridae, I think it could be attracted by the smell of the trap,as well as a big Necrophorus germanicus, found yesterday. Maurizio, also a lot of Anthicidae, Staphylinidae, Hydrophilidae, Elateridae(mainly Melanotus) and Moths. The habitat on the one side of the house is an open area that used be something like a pasture in the past, now is covered with various herbaceus plants, on the other side-orchards, most of them deserted.There is a small river 1-2kms away, too.Pictures next time, because I forgot to check the battery of the camera and of course it was down. Cosmin, this is the same lamp we tried to use in Greece, I have only removed the plexiglass protective cover as it may act as a filter.

Thank you, Loris and Augusto.Pselaphidae I havent seen yet and Anthicidae I took and I dont really need for my collection.
Here are some more pictures of specimens from the last week.

The Nicrophorus germanicus is a precious capture. I have seen 4 interesting Dytiscidae: Hydaticus transversalis, Hydaticus grammicus and the small one I think it is Coelambus impressopunctatus (the name in about 2000, now I bet this name is a synonym). And the reddish one below Hydaticus transversalis, I cannot remember the name.. the species name is ferrugineus.
