Hi to all,

This year I didn't spend much time in the field but last weekend(9 and 10 August) I had the opportunity to collect at night in the Eastern Rhodopes.Results are not what I could expect from the site as there was no rain from a long time and night active insects are more scarce here than in July.
I used 1 uv20W lamp, 1 uv-light trap 8W ,and an additional halogen lamp.Only the Chrysididae specimen was collected in a wine trap left during the day.
This is the result.If you need some better pictures please let me know.

The Neuroptera are interesting! :shock: In the first photo the larger specimen is Isoscelipteron fulvum.
Is it possible to study them?

The last photo is "Laemophloeus monilis Fabr." female.

Raccolte molto simili a quelle che sto facendo sul terrazzo di casa mia a Serrone.
Quest'anno, rispetto al passato, stanno arrivando pochissimi Cerambycidae.

Tra le poche cose interessanti che sono arrivate, ieri ho trovato un paio di Pselafidi, i primi che prendo alla luce.

Maurì, se a Serrone ti dovessero arrivare al lume degli Isoscelipteron.... RICORDATI DEGLI AMICI!!!!!!!!! :lol:
Il reperto bulgaro conferma ancora una volta che questi neurotteri possono essere fruttuosamente cercati al lume

Davide ,you'll be able to study them,though I've been very slow with parcels recently.Hopefully this will change soon.
I took this Chrysopidae,too and Mantispa specimens.

Fra i maschi di Mutillidae riconosco Smicromyrme sicana e Physetopoda halensis.
Se lo desideri, posso esaminare il tuo materiale e determinare tutto con precisione ;)

Thank you! In Bulgaria there are some extremely interesting species!
Most Neuroptera require a closer study, the mantispids are Mantispa aphavexelthe, common in Bulgaria but quite rare in Italy.

Se la forma delle ali è una caratteristica valida a distinguerli, credo di non averne mai visti, ma cercherò di farci caso.

Quandi dicevo risultati simili, mi riferivo ai Coleotteri, come questi del 10-12 agosto.
