Nice reportage :)
Have you ever tried to wash the soil at a depth of 10-30 cm? I think you can find Leptotyphlinae or other interesting endogean if the soil is not too much compact. Is the soil sandy or clayey?

Hello, Marco,
The soil is black and it is clayey. I made a test this spring and washed some soil with a negative result. I don't have a lot of experience with this kind of collecting but decided it's not the right place. At that time soil was very wet. Maybe if I test when it is dryer as it is now?

Hi Georgi,
I think you should try to dig in the elevated points, like small hills, at the base of old trees, when the soil is not too much dry (november - june). However, I think that the clayey soil is not suitable for the Leptotyphlinae. Some species live in lowland habitats, but in sandy or loess sediments.

Ciao,
posso aiutarti con i due Erotylidae:

N. 5: Triplax sp.; bisogna vedere il ventre per arrivare con sicurezza alla specie...

N. 6: Dacne bipustulata.

:ok: :hi:

The last two, Aphodiinae:1) yellow one, Melinopterus sp. It’s a male, the shape of foretibial apical spur would help for a specific ID; the black one seems to me Nialus varians (Duftschmid, 1805).

I would like to add also these pictures, probably the last for the year as Coleoptera get more scarce in this period.
