Hello, I whould like to hear your opinion on this one ... the specimen was found inside a house in Romania, in Iași, about 2 weeks ago, and a few days ago I was able to personally examine the specimen, folowing a key from the internet I am thinking this should be Euscorpius italicus, but a confirmation from someone with more experience on this group is welcome! ![]() |

Hi, as it bears 7 or more trichobothria in ventral side of chela manus it is Euscorpius (Polytrichobthrius) sp.; in Europe two species but one is until now only in Greece, so it must be Euscorpius (Polytrichobthrius) italicus (Herbst, 1800), despite whitish legs.

Actually, the species normally has legs much clearer than body; maybe it is a not totally pigmented specimen.
