Hi everybody  , a colleague of mine found these 2 larvae inside an old ootheca, a few weeks ago. Are they of Melyridae or something else? And do you think they were just hiding there for hibernation or they were actually developing there?  Thank you and Merry Christimas  |

Hello Alexaandru, Melyridae s.l. indeed, they might be of Dasytes. The observation is very interesting, maybe they did both, feeding first and then hiding. G.

Hello Gabriele, many thanks for your help  ....I tried to rear them but no luck, so the larvae are now in ethanol. Are you interested to take a look at them, it is possible to ID them to species level? Or if anyone is interested about them, let me know please
