Trovato morto vicino una finestra di casa, probabilmente sfarfallato da un po’ di terreno preso in campagna.
Molto caratteristico per le antenne lunghe e con “peli” a coppie stellate, e peli anche su ali e zampe.
Dimensioni del solo corpo: 1,00-1,2 mm (a occhio su carta millimetrata)
Spero che le foto permettano di arrivare alla famiglia.

Venatura alare ridotta, peluria sull'ala e particolarità delle antenne sono indizi abbastanza forti a favore di Cecidomyiidae. la più numerosa, almeno in Europa (280 generi e 1640 specie, dati del 2006), delle famiglie dei Nematocera (infraordine Bibionomorpha, superfamiglia Sciaroidea).
