Hi Frantisek, why not Cryptophagus?  (I don't know the caracters to distinguish these two genera...  )

I think the sides of the pronotum is really different.There are little distinctive spines on the sides of the pronotum of Cryptophagus species: http://r.a.r.e.free.fr/interactif/photos%20cryptophagidae/Cryptophagus%20pallidus%20copie.jpg It doesn't appaer in the Atomaria species: http://www.kerbtier.de/Pages/Fotos/FotoLargeN/Cryptophagidae/Atomaria-fuscata-n.jpg

Hi, of course, if there are a spines on the sides of the pronotum, then it must be Cryptophagus. There is seen no spine at the left side and, I thought, I see a dirty on the right side

Yes,I noticed it too.I am going to take another photo from the right side in few hours.Then we will see if it is really a spine or the tarsus of the right leg. |

Anche a me sembra una Atomaria sp. Atomaria = sottofamiglia Atomariinae Cryptophagus = sottofamiglia Cryptophaginae Il carattere per separare le due sottofamiglie risiede nella distanza della base delle antenne. Ciao Giuseppe |
