Anche a me ricordava un pò i curchi ed infatti ero andato a cercarlo tra i Curculionoidea, ma niente :cry:

Io ne ho trovati diversi, giorni fa, su fiori di ombrellifere, ma tutti Mycterus curculionoides. Questi dal "muso" più corto non li ho mai incontrati :oops: .

Per me sottogenere Eutryptes (una delle due specie italiane):

Mycterus (Eutryptes) tibialis Küster, 1850 (S, Si)
Mycterus (Eutryptes) umbellatarum (Fabricius, 1787) (N?, S, Si, Sa)

Per chi capisce il tedesco ( :gh:) segnalo questa chiave.

La fotografia, almeno in parte, è servita ad evidenziare alcuni caratteri.
Con molta probabilità si tratta di Mycterus tibialis.

Una foto di testa e rostro dall'alto ed una dell'apice di addome ed elitre sarebbero di ulteriore aiuto.

Anche testa e rostro sono da Mycterus tibialis.
I caratteri di addome ed elitre non sriesco ad apprezzarli.

Direi , però, che possiamo confermarlo. Per prudenza un cf. lo lascerei.
