Mentre leggevo la descrizione delle famiglie del sottordine Symphyta ho trovato il termine cencri, solo che non so cosa sono.
"Gli Argidae si riconoscono per i cencri molto grandi" "I Cephidae si riconoscono per l'assenza di cencri".

cenchrus (pl., cenchri)
In Symphyta, a paired, circular, or oval structure on the sublateral portion of the metascutum that is used to hold the wings in place when not being used.
