Unique specimen in my hands, was captured before 25 years in Pindus mountains.
With a length of 4.7 mm., it is really huge compared to the other congeneric species.
It does not fits to any of the 2 known European species of this genus (A. brevicollis and A. laticollis).
The next species that I thought, was Aulonothroscus maximus Pic., 1938, about which I know very few things (a large species from eastern Turkey - Caucasus).
But it was impossible to find the original description or some more details.
I have only the title of the original description, which was copied from a work of Alexey Kovalev:
Pic, M. Notes diverse, nouveautes (suite) / M. Pic // L 'Exchange: revue linnenne. - 1938. - T. 54. - P. 1–3.
Any help it will be extremely welcome !!!

Dunque, gli occhi mi sembrano interi e senza ommatidi mancanti, il genere dovrebbe essere proprio quello. Purtroppo non conosco le specie greche (ma nemmeno tanto quelle italiane)

Only 1 species is mentioned from Greece, the same as from Italy (A. brevicollis).
There is 1 A. brevicollis specimen in the collection here for comparison, it does not fit.
A few hours ago I obtained (via mp) the entire text of the original description of A. maximus. There are differences also, from that.
Thus, as it seems, we will not reach to a more accurate identification.
Another difficulty is that this is a female specimen.
So, most probably we remain in Aulonothroscus sp.
