Hi there,  I'm sorry for the bad photo quality, but i want to know if anybody has a suggestion where i should start with this specimen in the key. Size is 2mm. Which family? It was found in stranded eelgrass at the beach (baltic sea). Thank you for every hint. Ciao

Hydraenidae  Direi Limnebius sp., ne ho raccolti un sacco in questi giorni all'Elba, insieme a Saverio Rocchi e Fabio Terzani, che desidero anche ringraziare pubblicamente per i loro preziosi insegnamenti!!

I checked the key. It's Limnebius parvulus (Herbst, 1797). Ciao

It maybe L. parvulus, ma it's not possible to be completely sure without analyzing the aedeagus. |

I used Freude, Harde, Lohse (1971). -Size is about 2 mm -Pronotum with microsculpture between punctuation -Hind-femora with protuberance (like shown in figure 3:3) Unfortunately i can't photograph these details, because they're too small for my cam. |
