Ulteriori ricerche mi hanno portato al genere Macaria e Macaria alydda (Druce, 1887) sembra la papabile, stante anche l'ampia distribuzione e polifagia. Denominate "flannel moth" per il lungo capillizio urticante delle larve che appaiono simili ad un "parrucchino"! :hi:
