Hi Jan It is probably Holochelus (syn. Miltotrogus) if it has, as I think, 10 antennomeres and base of pronotum not margined. ciao, Guido |

Grazie Guido.Come Holochelus hanno designato questa specie. (Holochelus costulatus (Frivaldsky, 1835)(Grecia, Turchia).Quindi appartengono alla specie?

It belong to the same Genus Holochelus , not the species. It is impossible to identify the species through the web as the characters in this group are not sharp. Definitely it is not costulatus, probably vernalis. If you want to identify it alone you have to look for the Revision of the genus Miltotrogus by Nonveiller (I do not have in pdf). You have a nice collection and well prepared specimens! One day I would like to have a look at it. Congratulations, Guido |

Thank you for the compliment. know that this is not Holochelus costulatus (Frivaldsky, 1835).So it will probably belong here.I will try to identify the species in the latter work.Total got 6 pieces of this species
