Ne so molto poco: è corticicolo (il nome specifico deriva dal fatto che è estremamente piatto), prevalentemente sui pini. Ho trovato sul web che, essendo piuttosto raro, la biologia non è ben conosciuta.

Figures of larvae and pupae of European Pytho and biological notes are available in key to Pythidae published in a series "Keys to the identification of Polish Insects" (unfortunately in Polish). It is free available here:
