I still don't have the paper of Alexeev, 1998. But I have seen the subgenera in Volkovitsh's page. I would like to have a way to can differentiate the subgenera of Agrilus. I see some specialists still consider only 2 subgenera of Agrilus in Europe (Uragrilus and Agrilus s. str.). I had not the possibility to study Buprestids out of Romania to can get a proper opinion. Well I have some American Acmaeodera. I will make pictures and post here in the forum, but I wanted to finish my Romanian Buprestidae first to can finish the catalogue. The Acmaeodera were sent to me by Mr. Byrd Dozzier I want to thank him here too.

Hi Gianfranco,

I forgot I still have the specimen here in my office, so I could take the pictures of the head frontal and lateral view. My lens is 1:1 macro and I hope the poor definition of the picture is enough for what you want to find out.
