Più piccolo di Capnodis tenebrionis (15 mm circa) ma di forma simile, senza "brizzolatura" sul torace e di colore molto più omogeneo

Grazie, Giuseppe. Anche io avevo pensato a questa specie, ma la Guida ai coleotteri d'Europa (di Vincent Albouy e Denis Richard, Ricca editore, 2018) dice testualmente: Colorazione bronzea, piuttosto smorta, con punteggiatura dorata... rilievi color rame. Invece l'individuo che ho fotografato era molto scuro e non c'erano tutto questo bronzo e questo rame!
Probabilmente devo imparare a prendere in considerazione altri caratteri dirimenti e fidarmi meno delle colorazioni...
