 today have done some photos to a specimen of Anthaxia (Anthaxia) salicis (Fabricius, 1776) from Romania (this is one of the commonest buprestids from Romania  ) with the last modification of my so fantastically setup  .here is the result, and I'm declaring myself almost satisfied. specimens data are: north east of Romania (Moldavia) - 47.749817/26.890076 - in 7.may.2010. cosmln |

Very good preparation and very good photo. I can just observe that there is too many light, and the hair on the head disapper, merging with the white background. In these cases I prefer a darker image. |
