This specimen is also an Anthaxia (Melanthaxia) helvetica Stierlin, 1868. A. istriana has longer whitish-brown hairs while A. helvetica has short black hairs on frons of the head. Also the sculpture of pronotum and elytra is in A. istriana more rough. |
