This species is extremly rare here, being more common to the Western Europe.

It's very common here. Adults are very difficult to see, but it's very easy to get them cutting branches of oaks.
It's also quite common in Greece and Turkey, not only in western Europe.

Here are only 8 records known. But I have seen some attacks on oaks in Hungary, Visegrad area.
