Una Anthaxia (Anthaxia) salicis salicis (Fabricius, 1777) dai colori piuttosto anomali.

Abruzzo, L'Aquila, Valdevarri, 1000 m, 10.VII.2011, M. Gigli legit

6,7 mm

Stranamente la specie non risulta citata d'Abruzzo, benchè vi sia presente e l'abbia trovata in varie località di questa regione.

Gli esemplari sono simili, ma le foto no, purtroppo! :sick:

No. That's Anthaxia (Anthaxia) salicis ssp. pulverea! A new subspecies found in the Adrian's collection, only! :mrgreen:

Well, I am a little worried to brush this. It is the single specimen and it is even older than I am... collected in 1961. I was born in 1963. :shock:
