The biggest species in the New World (56 and 57 mm these 2 specimens), I think only Megaloxantha from SE Asia is bigger.
When is alive its body is covered with a yellow pulverulence that is usually gone in the specimens in collections.

Megaloxantha are longer (60-70 mm and something more), but not bigger!
