Si dovrebbe trattare di un Anaphlocteis, genere conosciuto in 9 specie tutte africane. Potrebbe essere A. pulchra (Obenberger, 1922) descritta del Congo ex Belga. Però mi pare sospetto che la specie arrivi fino in Benin, dove l'ho raccolta ombrellando.

Credo sia proprio questa specie. Anaphlocteis pulchra arriva almeno fino al Togo, quindi quasi certamente sarà anche nel Benin.

Secondo il Catalogo di Bellamy: Benin, Cameroun, Rep. Centrafricaine, Congo, Ghana, Costa d'Avorio, Sudan, Uganda.

Allora avevo interpretato male la tua frase. Volevi intendere che forse, con un areale così vasto, potrebbero in realtà essere più specie, e non una sola?

Non ho abbastanza materiale per pronunciarmi, ma non sarebbe certo l'unico caso di specie diffusa un po' in tutta l'Africa subsahariana.

Bè sì, intendevo quello. Bisognerebbe risalire a esemplari tipici e confrontarli con questi. Certo è che un areale così vasto fa sorgere qualche dubbio. Poi magari mi sbaglio e non sarebbe la prima volta....
