Agrilus (Anambus) angustulus angustulus (Illiger, 1803) - Buprestidae

Found near my town, Cluj-Napoca, in a very altered deciduous forest, on dry branches of Carpinus betulus

I collected about 50 specimens, hoping to be Agrilus olivicolor.
5-6 mm.

This is the most common Agrilus species here. I found all of them on Carpinus and I expected to find A. angustulus on Quercus and the specimens from Carpinus to be A. olivicolor. That's why I collected so many specimens.

it is Agrilus angustulus. Surely not A. olivicolor. :hi:

Thank you for the confirmation. I said I hoped to be olivicolor when I collected them. Analysing the specimens I have seen all are angustulus. The olivicolor has a very interesting and asymmetric aedeagus.

Now I see what I wrote yesterday night as dimensions. :oops: Can an administrator to modify to 5-6 mm? Thank you.
