Hi
,I collected this year this nice Trachys specimen under a piece of wood in a pasture. Thanks to Cosmin for the photo and the preparation of the specimen

I think it is Trachys scrobiculata, but it seems somewhat more slender.

Dorsal and ventral side (the prosternal shield) and the male genitalia are mandatory for identifying the species belonging to Trachys. The host plant information helps as well in identifying and verifying identification. |

no new pictures, just a few that are bad, take trought my poor binocular. I don' know if will help...The specimen was collected in a place with Stachys recta, but I think also Glechoma hederacea was present there. So could be also T. problematicus? |

Mi scuso per non aver visto gli ulteriori sviluppi della discussione. Ho confrontato le caratteristiche di questo esemplare (anche se la placca è nascosta dalla colla) con quelle dei miei esemplari greci di Trachys problematica, e mi sembrano identici. Anche la pianta ospite corrisponde. Quindi direi che potremmo dire con una certa sicurezza Trachys problematica Obenberger, 1918 |
