 Sphenoptera (Chilostheta) sp. Very difficult to say what! In Morocco there are at least 10-15 species, and probably others to be discovered. Identification of host plant will be possibly of great help. This species are enough monophagous. Unluckily host plants of some species are unknown. |

Thanks for the input, guys ! Just a thought, couldnt it be impressifrons ? Its listed for Morocco and morfology looks quite similar to this one. Daniele, here is that plant. I have seen that plant in many places, mostly dry areas, next to the roads, deserts like areas. Coulours vary from white/yellow to purple/blue.

I saw those plants, very common in the South of Morocco but has never collected there any Sphenoptera or Trichodes (leucospideus? or many more interesting species?)  Did you find many Sphenoptera on Limonium or single specimens? |

Hehe  Trichodes, Tituboea, Acmaeodera, Stenopterus... Much more  , but only in this place in ca 3x15m next to the road.
