Could it be this one ? Collected on Acacia trees. The size is around 10mm.

Certo che mi era sfuggita! Questa è una bestia che ho inutilmente cercato negli ultimi viaggi che ho fatto in Nord Africa. Ho trovato solo i rami attaccati, ma la larva non ha completato lo sviluppo. :sick:
Una delle più belle e rare specie di Chrysobothris paleartici.

Very hard to catch ! They were flying only inside of very nasty Acacia branches, so no way to use the net. Only way how to get them is catch them by hand. I would say, than maybe 10% what seen were caught and a lot of blood gone... Next time I would try it very very early in the morning.
