I found 4 specimens of this species and I don't have any good quality picture or a description of it. If it is A. cytisi it would be a new species for Romania. I presume it is A. cytisi because I collected them from Cytisus nigricans (see below). Length = 7-8 mm. Male dorsal Male lateral Male 2 dorsal Female dorsal Female ventral Slopes with vegetation (Biotop) Cytisus nigricans - the host plant |

Adrian, ci vuole Gianfranco comunque a me pare più un antiquus/croaticus.

I am not sure, but it doesn't seem Agrilus cytisi. On the inner margin of each elytron there is a pubescent strip? |

Then the single possibility is to be Agrilus (Spiragrilus) croaticus Abeille de Perrin, 1897. I wait for Gianfranco's opinion. Thank you Maurizio and Francesco. |

Thank you for the confirmation. In a while I got the guide of the Agrilus of France by Farrugia and I have seen my specimens are different from Agrilus cytisi. So it is Agrilus (Spiragrilus) croaticus Abeille de Perrin, 1897. Please, modify the title of this post. Thank you. |
