Sternocera aequisignata Saunders, 1866. Probably the most common Sternocera. It shows a quite high varability, and so it was described several times (now, several synonyms). Specimen on the left is, in my opinion, var. punctatovofeata Saunders, 1866 (another synonym, now). I have some specimens like yours and others intermediate between it and the typical form. You can see the holotypes of both here. |
