Chrysodema (Gelaeus) walkeri walkeri (Waterhouse, 1892)

Questa è una delle poche specie di Chrysodema del sottogenere Gelaeus, facilmente distinguibile dalle specie degli altri quattro sottogeneri per l'espansione dentiforme agli angoli omerali delle elitre (ed anche per i tarsi gialli).

Questa specie è caratteristica per il forte contrasto tra il verde quasi fosforescente di testa, protorace e scutello, e il blu profondo delle elitre.
La sottospecie nominale vive in poche isole delle Molucche (Damar, Moa e Leti, e probabilmente qualche altra isoletta vicina), mentre la sottospecie wetteriana Théry, 1935 vive a Wetar.
