Oggi ho ottenuto da allevamento uno Pseudomalus da rametti di rovo che ho raccolto a novembre 2012. L'esemplare misura 4.5 mm. Da notare la punteggiatura praticamente assente presso mesonoto e pronoto:

Bella sequenza relativa allo sfarfallamento.

Nel tentativo di provare a dare un nome alla bestiola, è possibile avere una foto dell'incisura anale e, se riesci, anche una dei femori anteriori visti lateralmente?

essendo che :mrgreen: la punteggiatura dello scutum (il mesonoto comprende anche lo scutello) è praticamente assente, ne consegue che non è uno Pseudomalus, che è caratterizzato dai grossi punti assensati a ridosso della sutura con lo scutello, bensì un Omalus

e dato che lo scutum appare rugoso e coriaceo, e non liscio e licente, propenderei per Omalus biaccinctus (Du Buysson, 1892)

vediamo anche la forma dell'incisura anale e dei lati del 3° tergite

La mia richiesta di vedere l'incisura anale era in primo luogo per verificare l'assenza o la presenza del "ribordo" al fine di escludere o meno il genere Omalus :oops: :D
