I think this is a Trigonophora spp. but which one? Maybe Trigonophora jodea? From Catalonia, 23 October. Any advice welcome! Matthew

I think your moth could be Trigonophora flammea; watch it in http://www.leps.it!

For general coloration, the pattern very marked, and the shape of orbicular, I agree with Trigonophora (Trigonophora) flammea (Esper 1785)

Thank you Luca and Claudio! There is a drawing in Robineau's "Guide des papillons nocturnes de France" that had me uncertain about what Trigonophora spp. it might be
