Non è un Emblethis (non esistono Emblethis neri), ma un Aellopus atratus (Goeze, 1778), Lygaeidae della stessa sottofamiglia, i Rhyparochrominae; specie piuttosto comune a distribuzione turanico-euromediterranea. Sono sicuro che lo hai raccolto anche in Sardegna.
