I should leave the question mark: Alloeotomus cyprius (Wagner, 1955)? In order to be sure of the identification I should examine some specimens. |

According to Heteroptera Catalogue of Turkey 2006,there are only 3 species in genus Alloeotomus: A. gothicus A.germanicus A.cyprius It's clear that this bug is neither A.gothicus nor A.germanicus. |

In identifications, particularly for Miridae, one cannot proceed by exclusion. I have also a specific reason for what I have written; the species was redescribed in 1974 by a great Turkish heteropterologist, F. Önder, under the name Alloeotomus doesburgi, now regarded as a synonym of A. cyprius. In his description he provided an illustration of the species which I attach. As you can see the coloration of your specimen is very uniform without the dark areas, in particular in antennae but also on scutellum and hemelytra, which are very evident in the illustration. If you consider also that the genus Alloeotomus tends to produce very local endemics, you can understand why I regard only probable that your specimen is A. cyprius.

Yes,you are right.There are no dark areas in this bug.But I think it has any of these dark areas because it's teneral.I killed it by mistake when I found. But in this photo we can see there is a little bit colour diffirentiation.Also in the illustration begins the colouration in the same place.But these all are my opinion.

After exactly 1 year I found another specimen in the exactly same street lamp.So now I am sure that it is not teneral and the same coloration,there is no dark areas especially in cuneus.So a new species???
