Cimice che credo essere un Cydnidae ma di cui non ho trovato traccia sul Forum

There are 3 species of the genus Crocistethus known from Morocco: C. aeneus (Brulle) C. basalis (Fieber) C. waltlianus (Fieber) It is not C. basalis because it can be easly disthinguished by the unicolor dark pronotum (no white areas in the posterior corners of the pronotum). See: viewtopic.php?f=98&t=208&hilit=basalis I couldn't find any identification key for the other two but I found the original description of C. aeneus and a redescription of C. waltlianus. It says: C. aeneus: "...espece d'un vert de bronze en dessus..." species with a bronze green above (here pronotum). C. waltlianus: "...pronotum metallisch schwarz..." pronotum metallic black. So I think your specimen has a bronze green pronotum, hasn't it? |

Yes, bronze-green pronotum and scutellum. I've checked directly on specimen today afternoon Thank you
