It is labelled Stigmodera praeyi, New Holland, 1930. I was looking in my poor literature as well as in Internet and I did'nt find this name even as synonym. I think it is Stigmodera cancellata (Donovan, 1805) http://www.virtual-beetles.com/stigmodera.html. Maybe my more experienced "Buprestidari" will confirm or infirm my identification. Length: 33 mm.

I confirm the identification. Among the 7 species of this genus, it is the only Stigmodera I don't have!
