Hi , any idea about this specimen from Romania? Lenght ~ 2 mm

Hi Alexandru, surely Bryaxis sp, I don't know at all romanian species, but with aedeagus and antennae could be relatively easy for someone else.

I did a little resarch. Bryaxis chaudoirii (Chaudoir, 1845) seems to be quite similar. It is known from Ukraine, Central European Russia and Polonia. I didn't find aedeagus of typical B. chaudoirii but I found that of Bryaxis tenenbaumi (Machulka, 1938) in the description, now his synonym (according to Lobl&Smetana catalogue). See the link for antennae images.
Also Bryaxis femoratus (Aubé, 1844) has similar antennae (but not so similar to your specimen as B. chaudoirii=B. tenenbaumi, see the link) and it's widespread in central-eastern Europe, but I can't find images of aedeagus (B. tenenbaumi is synonym of B. femoratus in Die Kafer Mitteleuropas by Besuchet, I can't find the publication where the nomenclature changes happened).

I thought so because in the key B. tenenbaumi is written in brackets.

It was implied that the species is not known from the Middle Europe, but its presence there is very likely. However, that is indeed not so obvious
