3rd version : I deleted the comparisons between pm & mj, because there are exceptions for the Xoridinae which do not allow to generalize. Of where this 3rd version. ----- 2nd version : I had based the determination of P.(Calliclisis) on 2 photos of species a priori well determined, in fact they were not her (The 2 photos disappeared of the Net) ! The shape of the nervures observed on photos, thus did not characterize the Calliclisis. Of where this 2nd version. ===================== Biblio. Good work JP, just some points: 1. Ischnoceros can be easily distinguished from the other Xoridinae for the presence of a frontal horn. 2. You forgot the poemenine genus Cnastis, which has wrinkled temples (as Neoxorides and Podoschistus) and a tooth on tarsal claw I and II (Neoxorides has tarsal claws simple - Podoschistus has teeth on tarsal claws 1-2-3). Here the description of the european C.bulgaricus: A Review of the Genus Cnastis TOWNES and a Key to the Palearctic Species - Linzer biologische Beitrage 28/1: 231-236 http://www.landesmuseum.at/pdf_frei_rem ... 1-0236.pdf I send you a mp Filippo |

Saluti, Thank you for your observations. For the genus Ischnoceros, Thank you for this fundamental precision, I am probably going to modify my key, when I can it. For the genus Cnastis, I had referred to FE (who does not quote it) and to Townes (which quoted it for only Eastern Europe and Japan). I had not thus verified with Taxapad ! I think (as what takes place for certain other genera or species) that we shall not capture Cnastis to the West of Bulgaria. However I will how see integrating this genus into my key. Ciao.
