2 Captures in Cne Menou (Dépt. Nièvre - France) on 13 VI 2013
[We have already captured several ♀ of the species, of which one at the same time as the 2 ♂, and the photo of a ♀ had already been sent on our Forum by vitalfranz and identified by Eopteryx]

- Clypeus separated from Face by a badly visible groove, but fortunately here the face is to rather flat
- The Mandible is 2-toothed

- Sternaulus absent
- Surface ot Tergite 2 without : sweelings , oblique grooves, median triangular convex area surrounded by grooves
- Mesoscutum without transverse wrinkles
- Tarsal Claws not pectinate & without Tooth
- N >½ & dg > gk & PP’ > 0
- Areolet closed & petiolate
- 2nd recurrent Vein of Forewing is not zig-zagged
- Upper division of Metapleurum’s Propodeum having the shape of a big apophysis
- Epicnemial Carina present
- Inner margin of Eye not concave at antennal socket
- Ocelli not elarged
So the Tribe is Coleocentrini

* Characteristics of our capture :
- A3p (normally A4p, but by reduction of a nervure the Areolet can become triangular)
- Clypeus with median apical Tubercle
So the Genus is Coleocentrus
- Face yellow with a narrow central vertical black stripe and Pterostigma not reddish
- Abdomen black & red centrally and hind Tarsus entirely white (as a rule only the last tarsomeres are white)
So the sp. excitator

Remark in the Biblio quoted above :
* According to Schmiedeknecht & Varga, the median Tergites are black for caligatus & red for excitator.
…. It is sometimes false for excitator, see the photos of n° 5268.
* Only Constantineanu, described correctly the coloring of median Tergites.
