| Capture in Forêt de Couloutre (Dépt. Nièvre - France) on 18 IV 2015 Det. of Genus : [see viewtopic.php?f=104&t=53530&hilit=adaptation] * Characteristics of our capture : - Forewings with 2 Bullae then [see viewtopic.php?f=104&t=52775&hilit=adaptation] * Characteristics of our capture : - Spir > 1/2 - Abdomen compressed, its segments 3 & 4 deeper than wide - The Areolet of the right Forewing is not open on the left - Propodeum not reticulated wrinkled then [see viewtopic.php?f=11&t=53271&p=302203#p302203] * Characteristics of our capture : - Clypeus without an apical fringe of long bristles - Stern > 1/2 - Ovipositor projecting very out beyond the apex of Abdomen So the Genus is Tropistes Det. of Species : [see http://www.forum.hymis.de/download/file ... &mode=view] The Genus contains 5 European species : burakowskii, scoticus, falcatus, nitidipennis & hebraicator. ** The 2 first species differ from others by their length ≤ 4 mm and the shape of their third antennal segments. ** I consider that hebraicator is not a “good species”, because :
Even the Ovipositors does not allow to distinguish distinctly hebraicator & nitidipennis

 - falcatus with Coxae red (Remark : The color of Tegulae does not separate these 2 sp.) ========== falcatus was captured in Italy
