This Insect is an Ichneumoninae ♂ (because its habitus) .
Then we follow the keys of Berthoumieu since the p. 38 (pagination of the off-print)
Characteristics of our capture used for the identification :
A - The Petiole is not wider than thick (this exclude the Platyuri Wesmael)
B - The Pronotum has no central tuber (this exclude in particular : Anisobas)
C - The 3rd Sternite is wrinkled (this exclude : Catadelphus arrogator, Trogus, Limerodes, etc)
D - The Tergites are not separated by a deep furrow (this exclude in particular : Dinotomus)
E - Only Tergites 1 & 2 are yellow, the other black (this exclude : Amblyteles excultus, A. gravenhorsti, etc)
F - The Antennae have not clear rings (this exclude in particular : A. sputator)
G - The Face is black excepted the yellow internal Orbits (this exclude in particular : A. armatorius)
H - The Mandibles are mainly yellow (this exclude in particular : A. nonagriae)
Thus the capture is an Oxypygi Wesmael .
Another characteristic useful for the identification is : the internal apex of the Tibiae 2 stained with black (see the photo).
Only 2 species have this peculiarity, namely :
- Ichneumon albicollis of which the Face is yellow, thus it is not our capture .
- I. extensorius
