Here is Ichneumon whose the photos were kindly sent to us by Mrs Hege Vårdal (Intendent / Curator Hymenoptera) of Naturhistoriska riksmuseet / Swedish Museum of Natural History.
This sending follows upon to the identification of one the var. of melanobatus !
This var. is known only of Siberia, but being given that the coloring of Abdomen is not in my opinion a stable criterium (as for Symphyta), I wished to know the tint in particular of Legs of Typus [melanobatus (m.) having the Tergites 2/4 red]
Remark : for Mrs Hege legs would be black or dark brown, I see them red-brown on photos !
