While I was looking for Quilnus parvicollis (which is another Aradidae from Turkey) on the Internet,incidentally I saw a Aradidae which is really similar to yours.It was Dysodius lunatus.I am sure that the genus is right but I can't be sure about the right species.There is also another species,Dysodius magnuswhich is really similar to D.lunatus.So we should wait for eremicus for the the exact ID. |

The shape of tylus seems to be useful for the discrimination between species. In this case it's simple (not bifidus as scissors) I think it's D.lunatus. There is a full revision of the genus Dysodius by Ernst Heiss: >>Heiss, E. 1990.
