Diplacodes lefebvrii (Rambur, 1842) - Libellulidae

Oggetto del messaggio:  Diplacodes lefebvrii (Rambur, 1842) - Libellulidae
Last month (sep. 2018) during a trip through beautiful Sardegna, I saw this distinctive dragonfly on the Giara-plateau.
It looks like a Diplacodes lefebvrii specimen.
If this assumption is correct, it would indicate that there might be more than the two known locations where D. lefebvrii is present on the island.
The observation was made on 17-09-2018 at Pauli Salamengianu, a wetland area, dry in September. It is located on the Giara di Gesturi, Oristano, Sardegna.

it is ... a teneral male.
I can't add more about locality because is not my area of study.

this may indicate that D. lefebvrii is now spreading in sardinia :hj:
