I'm not familiar with Italian fauna, but for sure this is not Ischnura... is a female of Coenagrion caerulescens (Fonscolombe,1838). I'm not sure about the ID because of the next reasons... the antehumeral blue stripes are not enough wide... will be nice to see a close up of the pronotum. the other possibility is Coenagrion scitulum (Rambur, 1842), but this female don't look like the one I know from Romania and Greece. but will be nice to receive a confirmation or infirmation from your local specialists... as I have never seen this species yet. hope this helps. cosmln |

Ho provato ad ingrandire un po' le foto e la forma dello pterostigma farebbe escludere Coenagrion caerulescens. Anche il pronoto sembrerebbe avere un lobo mediano che confermerebbe dunque femmina di Coenagrion scitulum (Rambur, 1842) Calogero appena ti è possibile potresti inserire un ritaglio del pronoto e degli pterostigmi? |

after this the only conclusion is Coenagrion scitulum (Rambur, 1842). a question, this is the normal color/marking of the abdomen in females in that part of the world? cosmln |
