Here is one of three European species of Eumenes that sometimes has yellow markings on mesoscutum. It is characterized by long hairs on T2 and translucent T2 lamella. Males have a distinct longitudinal dark line on the final antennal segment.

The males also have longer hairs on T2, translucent T2 lamella, notable longitudinal darker line on the terminal antennal segment and (usually) black inner parts of tibia III. Notably, they may come with rather short T2 hairs as well, which is uncommon and can cause doubts in determination. Variability of hair length in Eumenes was reported before (https://www.zobodat.at/pdf/LBB_0044_1_0481-0522.pdf), but this specimen has very short T2 hairs.
