This should be the same ant, photographed alive with a friend of hers and a larva. This is a normal ant, in the sense that lives in colonies, although rather small. Can Lech confirm or rectify what I have written?

On the second photo is different species than on the first photo. On the second photo is Temnothorax unifasciatus, characteristic by its narrow black band on first tergite and dark antennal club. Specimen on the first photo has uniformly yellow antennae and broad band on first tergite extending laterally to the base of abdomen. In this group is several species distinguished by subtle characters invisible on your photo (colour of sternites, shape of thoracic spine, microsculpture of head etc.). |

Grazie!!! Se interessano a qualcuno basta dirlo e son tutte sue  Io le metto sempre tutte in alcool insieme al "non so che farmene ma lo conservo", quindi basta chiedere e appena ho un attimo vedo di separarle;) |
